To use Jolicv, you'll need to enter personal information through our guided form process. From the moment you move past the first step, we begin saving the data you provide. In Step 1, we request key information such as:

- Phone number*
- Home address*
- Profile photo
- Birth details
- Driver's license status
- Nationality
- Gender
- Marital status
- LinkedIn profile URL
- Any relevant personal website URL
Fields marked with * are essential for using our services. All other details help enhance your resume. In the next step, you'll be prompted to add:
- Education history: courses, internships, certifications (including dates and institutions)
- Employment experience: roles held and companies
- Personal interests and extracurriculars
- Key skills and proficiency levels
- Languages spoken
Once this is complete, you'll enter Step 3 to customize your resume. A subscription to Jolicv (cancelable anytime) allows you to save, download, and edit your CV. You'll also gain access to features like creating unlimited cover letters, sending applications, and browsing job listings.
2.2 Payment Information
For managing subscription payments, we rely on third-party services such as Adyen, Stripe, Mollie, or PayPal ("Payment Providers"). Payment details are entered directly with these providers, not with Jolicv. While they may share transaction status (e.g. successful payment), we never receive or store your credit card information. Each Payment Provider independently manages its data according to its own policies, which we encourage you to review.
2.3 Email Communication and Marketing
We may contact you regarding product updates, news, or promotional offers. You'll receive marketing emails if:
- You've opted in to receive them; or
- You've used our service and haven't opted out
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the footer of our emails or by contacting us directly. We will always request your explicit consent before sharing your resume with recruiters or sharing your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We'll check in after one year of inactivity to confirm. If we don't hear back, we'll delete your data one month later. Administrative data like invoices will be retained for 7 years.
